Here at Deepmills we combine the latest technology with traditional values of coffee roasting.

The ‘Artisan’ approach of ‘Small batch roasting is our commitment to excellence’. We use a

‘Fluid-air bed roaster’ which has many advantages over ‘traditional’ drum and gas roasters.

This method of roasting does not scorch the beans,nor are the beans coated with residue as

is often the case with gas roasters. Computer controlled roasting profiles suspend the beans

in ‘a fountain of electrically heated air’,as the drum floats and pulses,the beans evenly

roast from all directions. This leads to accurate control,enhances flavour development,

and produces the best tasting coffee.
