Coffee grounds are very useful in keeping away slugs in
your garden. There is good evidence that they do not
like coffee and will stay away! With useful trace elements
in the coffee grounds, don’t throw away your used coffee
grounds in the bin, instead use them again in the garden,
at the very least it will be a good talking point with your
neighbours!
